Comfortable Maleficent Headpiece

cuernos.jpg

In this instructable I'll show you how to make the most simple maleficent headpiece. It's lightweight, so that you can curse mortals all night long, and even little maleficents will find it comfy. And unlike other tutorials, this one doesn't require wire, foam, paper, not even paint so it's very easy and fast to make.

In less than 30 min you'll be standing in front of the mirror with your new horns

Cut the fabric according to the pattern I made.

Sew the bonnet as shown in the picture, it's easier to do it with a sewing machine, but if you don't have one you can do it by hand.

If your fabric frays, hem the raw edges.

Sew the clasp at the bottom.

Make the Horns

Cut the black fabric according to the pattern. With the sewing machine, sew the horns leaving the bottom part opened.

Through the bottom stuff it. It has to be firmly packed with stuffing so that it remains vertical by itself.

Close the bottom of the horn sewing it by hand.

Attach to the Bonnet

Sew each horn to the bonnet, take your time finding the best position and make sure they are symmetrical.

That's it now go find a black dress and a red lipstick and you have your costume!
