Colorful Mini Clock With CNC
In this instructable I will show you how to make a mini
clock with the cnc.
Paint Your Wood
First of all find yourself a piece of wood or more pieces and put them together. After you found/ made it, paint it. I wanted to try 4 different colors so I created 4 squares
Cut the Back
Then its time to put it in the cnc. I used vcarve as my drawing program for the cnc but there are many and if you are still reading then most likely you own or have access to a cnc and then you know what program to use. Be careful when you program it. Make sure to leave 2mm of wood between the frond and the back of the clock. Otherwise it will be very fragile.
First put the wood upside down and cut out the hole for your clock mechanism. I chose too let the mechanism stick out otherwise my clock needed to be way thicker and I think, whit a small clock like this, this is not really beautiful.
Front
Then after you done that turn around and cut the front piece. You can also choose to give the edge (the colorful one ) an offset so the outer layer is wood and one small edge more too the middle is the color edge.
for some reason the green one didn't work so now I one have 3 haha.
Finish It
Now sand it a bit, and put the clock mechanism in. The arms of the clock are most likely too long, so cut them.
Once you’ve done all this you made yourself some mini clocks.
I hope you enjoyed this instructable don’t forget to check out my website because now I have an English option on it :D:D
