Color Wheel Puzzle

As a designer and artist I have always had a great fascination for colors and I love to use them whenever I can. I really like the color wheel and I had thought of one day buying a puzzle of it, however, I thought it could be much more fun to create my own one and also allow it to be assembled in different ways. Now that I have it finished, I think it serves a lot as an ornament for the living room table and that both adults and children will enjoy it. I hope you enjoy creating your own color wheel puzzle as I enjoyed doing mine.

Como diseñadora y artista siempre he tenido una gran fascinación por los colores y me encanta usarlos cada vez que puedo. Me gusta mucho el círculo cromático y había pensado en algún día comprar un rompecabezas de este, sin embargo pensé que podría ser mucho más divertido crear el mío propio y que además este permitiera ser ensamblado en diferentes formas. Ahora que lo tengo terminado pienso que sirve mucho como un adorno para la mesa de la sala y que tanto adultos como niños disfrutarán de él. Espero disfruten creando sus propios rompecabezas de círculo cromático como yo disfruté hacer el mío.

The next step was to cut the wood to get 2 squares that would fit the color wheel.

El siguiente paso fue cortar la madera para sacar dos cuadrados en los que cupiera el círculo cromático.

Now, the chromatic circle is pasted on the wood, with a compass a circle is made around it and then cut.

Ahora, se pega el círculo cromático sobre la madera, con un compás se hace un círculo alrededor de este y se corta.

I painted with black the base and also the back part of each piece.

Pinté de negro la base y también la parte trasera de cada pieza.
