Color Chalk for Asphalt, Do It Yourself
Things like food dyes, dry watercolor, construction paints are constantly accumulating at home. I will tell you how to get rid of them and have fun.
We will make a multi-colored chalk for drawing on asphalt.
I read in a children's book a long time ago that if you use a microscope, we will see tiny shells of creatures that died millions of years ago. Unfortunately not. Most of the white chalk and all the color chalk consists of alabaster. And I will tell you how to do it.
Required Items:
Water soluble paints for coloring the mixture.
Gypsum (alabaster). White plaster remaining after repair is also possible.
For softness, building chalk or tooth powder is added. (Optional)
Disposable glasses, containers for the mixture.
Spoon Disposable spatulas or simply mixing sticks.
Water
Use work clothes, easy to get dirty.
Rags to maintain cleanliness.
Make Colored Solutions for Coloring the Mixture.
If you have old dried paint, they should be moistened beforehand.
Gouache, which has dried, for red chalk.
Yellow and blue, remnants of tinting paste.
Diluted with water.
Primary Colors
We have three primary colors: red, yellow and blue.
We use color theory and get the missing colors.
Intermediate Color. Orange

It's simple.
Intermediate Color. Green

The whole spectrum!
Form Preparation
Take two plastic glasses of 200 ml.
On one of them make a cut, as shown in the photo.
In an intact cup, lower any item 2-4 mm thick.
This form can be reused.
Preparation of the Mixture
Measure out 7 spoons "with a hill"
If you are using repair plaster, add 1 scoop of chalk or dental powder for softness.
Stir and add the dye in small portions. The mixture should look like thick yogurt.
Fill Out the Form
Pour the mixture into the mold. Act quickly, clearly and decisively. Gypsum hardens quickly.
Extract the Chalk
After the mixture grabs the finished chalk can be extracted.
Done!
And the form can be reused.
Sometimes the mixture does not harden immediately, it depends on the paint. Leave for a day or two, the mixture will harden.
