Coffee Time
The function of a clock is to tell the time.
Here's a simple project showing how to make a desk clock for less the $5, and takes about 15 minutes to make.
With its small foot print it won’t take up much space on your already cluttered desk.

Find the Centre
Find the centre of the cup's lid by measuring its diameter and then, with a compass set to half the diameter, scribe from the edges into the middle.
Drill a Hole
Drill a small pilot hole into the centre of the cup's lid. Make it big enough to fit the spindle of the clock mechanism using a larger drill bit.
Fit the Clock Mechanism
Fit the clock mechanism and secure with the provided nut. Align the top of the clock mechanism to the dinking hole - this will indicate twelve on the clocks face.
Connect the Battery
Insert an AA battery and you are good to go.
