COMPLETE FINAL Finally.jpg

No-bake cookies and coffee can both be incredibly addictive. Have you ever tried combining them? If you're looking for something original and more appetizing than the average no-bake, this recipe could be for you. This instructable will teach you how to make coffee no-bakes, which are cookies that require no baking in the oven. You should make this instructable if you want to try something new or if you're a big fan of coffee-flavored desserts. Coffee no-bakes would be a great treat for someone in need of something sweet and flavorful!

Gather Your Ingredients

To make these coffee no-bakes, you will need:

  • 1 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup coffee (made with hot/warm milk, not hot water)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Making the Coffee

The first thing you should do is make the coffee. Remember, make it with milk, not hot water. An easy way to make the coffee is to heat up milk in a saucepan, and then pour it into a cup of coffee. I made half a cup of brewed coffee, but you can use instant if you're up to experimenting.

Combining the First Ingredients

Now, in a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, butter, cocoa powder, and coffee. Mix the ingredients well because you shouldn't mix them when they're on the stove. You can use a regular spoon, a spatula, or whatever you feel like using to mix.

Boiling and Combining Second Ingredients

Bring the saucepan over to the stove, and start heating it. I advise you have the peanut butter, oats, and vanilla ready to add in when the boiling is finished, because the cookies harden pretty quickly. When it begins to boil, like the third picture, let it cook for about 90 seconds. Then, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the remaining ingredients.

Plopping the Mixture

Now that the cookies are almost completed, it is time to plop! Get a spoonful of the mixture and plop it onto a tray or plate. If you use big trays, you will have about three trays full of coffee no-bakes. The size or shape does not matter, but I tried to do circular-shaped cookies. They cool somewhat fast, but they probably won't harden while you are plopping. You can cool them on the counter or in the refrigerator, which cools them faster. In about ten to twenty minutes, they will fully harden, and your cookies will be complete!

Finished!

Now you have a delicious batch of coffee no-bakes to enjoy! You can share the cookies with your friends and family, or you can enjoy them all to yourself. If you would prefer to make the coffee flavor more distinct, use more coffee grounds in the milk. I strongly suggest you give these no-bakes a try or get your friends to make them and share them with you! These coffee no-bakes are are really delightful to those who love cookies with a hint of coffee. You can never eat only one!
