Coffee Cupping - Taste Test

Coffee Cupping is a process carried out at different stages from the coffee harvest onwards, to ensure quality coffee beans, and that this quality doesn't diminish from when the fruit is picked to when it's roasted and ready to to be brewed by the end customer.

Coffee Cupping is something you can do yourself at home if you have different coffees to taste, and even get friends round to get involved too and make your own notes (using a coffee tasting wheel as shown).

The tasting wheel is a superb guide in helping you decipher all the different taste complexities in your brew, and how you will notice the change in taste as the temperature of the coffee reduces.
