Coffee Creamer - Coffee Mate Spout Restriction Orifice

How often do you have your coffee creamer flood out of the large spout into your cup? Far more than you wanted in your fresh cup of coffee.

Here is a simple solution to regulate the amount of creamer poured. It is a small 4mm hole limiting the creamer expelled from the jug.

This 3D printed 39mm diameter wafer with a 4mm hole will permit easy regulation of the creamer expelled from the jug. There is a taper into the center hole that lets excess creamer drain back into the jug when it is up-right.

Supplies

3D Printer

PET-G food-safe filament

Print the Regulation Disc

I used standard printer settings to print the STL. There is no infill since the wafer is very thin.

You might consider 0.10 or 0.15mm layer height. I used 0.20mm.

Remove the Lid and Seal From the Creamer Jug Add the Regulator

The regulator disk is very thin and should fit between the screw cap and the screw on top of the jug allowing the lid to be screwed back on easily. This photo shows an older design with the orifice off-centered, the STL file prints the hole centered so it is easier to position the jug.

Ready to Pour

Simply pour the creamer as usual, a slight squeeze will get the amount just right.

Enjoy Your Coffee.
