Hey momoluvers! It's mono and today I'll be showing you how to make a super easy coffee cozy. This is extremely fun to make and show off on your coffee cup. A coffee cozy basically keeps your hand from burning as you hold some hot coffee. This is a cute and unique way to solve that problem. Enjoy!

Supplies

You will need:
1. Yarn
2. Double pointed needles
3. Sewing needles
4. Scissors
5. Small button or accessory

You'll need to know how to:
1. Knit in the round
2. Cast on/off

Casting on and Starting Out

Create a slip knot and cast on 39 stitches.

Divide the stitches evenly onto three separate double pointed needles being careful not to twist it.

Simply begin knitting in the round.

A braid pattern should begin forming. If it's not, you did something wrong; go back and try again!

Cast Off

Now simply cast off by knitting two stitches and pulling the first stitch over the second and dropping it off the needle. Repeat

A Little Pop

Add a small decoration if desired. I used this cute felt flower that I thought was perfect!

Finished!
