Coconut Oil Healing Balm

A simple yet effective balm for cuts, scrapes, burns and insect bites.
Gather Your Materials

Organic refined coconut oil, raw local honey, 100% yellow beeswax, Calendula oil, Tea tree, Lavender, and clove essential oils, stick mixer, an induction cooker and a metal tin.
Oils and Honey

Add 1/4 cup coconut oil, 1/4 calendula oil and 2 teaspoons of raw honey.
Mix It Up a Bit!

Now take your stick mixer and mix the oil and honey together just a few seconds.
Set the Heat

Next set your induction cooker to low making sure not to go over 100 F. You can also use a double boiler and a thermometer if you don't have an induction cooker.
Add Beeswax

Next add 4 TBS of yellow beeswax let it melt away into the oil.
Essential Oils Time

Now add 20 drops of Tea tree e.o., 10 drops of Lavender e.o., and last but not least, 5 drops of Clove e.o.
Fill Your Tin

Carefully pour your oil into the tin and let it set.
