Coconut Cookies
HEY, today we made coconut cookies, they have a hard shell but raher soft inside. This recepie is from my grandma and is almost 80 years old. They are also a great snack for a movie.
Supplies
- 250g crystal sugar
- 160g grated coconut
- 4 egg whites
- 40g bread crumbs
Prepare the Oven!
170°C
Normal mode (Both side heat)
you won't have much time between mixing it and putting it into the oven, It might get flat, can't waste time with preheating oven afterwards, so it's better to do it before.
Pour Egg Whites Into a Bowl and Mix
As the title says, pour whites into a bowl, which is fit for mixing. Mix them with a mixer
Start Adding Sugar, Coconut and Breadcrumbs
gradually pour sugar, coconut, breadcrumbs into the bowl with mixed whites.
Mix Everything!
Mix everything, Until you reach this consistency!!! It should be soft like cream, but not runny. Also it should hold shape.
Put It on a Baking Sheet
Put baking paper on a baking sheet. I used water for the paper to stick to the sheet. (I also needed 2 sheets to fit everything)
BAKEE!
Put the cookies into the preheated oven (170°C) and bake for 30 minutes.
You can use a toothpick to check the inside. It shouldn’t stick, but it should stay soft. When they’re done, they should have a golden-brown color.
Serving :D
Finally, you can enjoy your creation! But just don’t rush - let them cool first. After that EAT them!!!!!
