Coaster for Hot Beverages From Cardboard

This coaster will protect your surfaces from hot mugs... and all you need is corrugated cardboard, glue, something to cut the cardboard with, rubber bands, and ink pens.  A ribbon adds a nice touch.

My coaster is a little taller than it needs to be.  Around 3/4 of an inch seems like it would be ideal.

Now Mom's table is safe from Dad's coffee mug!
