Clean Eating Cranberry Granola

I like food, not gonna lie. I also like to be healthy. But if food isn't tasty, I'm not going to eat it.

Which is where this dee-licious granola comes in! Healthy, TASTY, and full of protein, fibre, and omega fatty acids, it's easy to make. Also easier on the pocketbook compared to purchased granola.

Got 20 minutes? Let's make some granola!

Mix Up Les Ingredients

Clean Eating Cranberry Granola

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. chopped almonds
  • 1 1/2 c. dried cranberries (I like lots of fruit in my granola, but if you like less, adjust your quantities. Or add in a different dried fruit!)
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1/2 c. pepitas
  • 1/4 c. flax seeds
  • 3 tbsp. ground flax (flax meal)

Mix together everything but leave out the dried fruit.

Bake

Spread the mixture on a cookie sheet, and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes. Make sure to stir the granola at least one (preferably twice) while baking.

Take out and let cool. When cool, stir in dried fruit.

And...eat! :)
