Class Summary Painting

After a long year of this class I have made so many different designs and I wanted to make one last project with all my favorite designs so far. At the very beginning of this class we came up with a brand name and logo which have stuck with my though the whole year. All my designs fit together perfectly for my brand. So in my imaginary store where I sell my stickers I have to have a cute sticker menu so people know what I have before stepping into the store. So my painting would be my sticker menu.

I used matte acrylic paint and a 9 by 12 blank canvas along with tape and some sketch paper.

Pick you design that you want to add to your sticker menu.

Draw the design or trace it onto some sketch paper and carefully cut out.

For those who are artistically gifted this step is not necessary, but for those of us who are not I highly recommend this step because it helps a lot.

this step goes hand and hand with the last one because we only drew it on sketch paper and cut it out to make it easier for us to tape to the back of our canvas. Which is what you need to do for this step.

After taping the cut out it should look like this. And we will trace by putting any light under/behind the canvas to reveal our beautiful cut out.

I used my iPad, and to help make it easier to see I found a white page and zoomed in and turned on guided access. After you have done this then you may begin painting.

Now that you’re done with your painting all you have to do is label it with your brand and your name.

i made two different paintings, one being my favorite design and the other being the sticker menu. So however you chose to do yours is completely fine. Both my sticker menu and my favorite design used the same steps :)
