Cinnamon Sugar Crusty Bread Recipe:

1 2/3 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar (I used raw)
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 egg (beaten)
1 cup oil (I used coconut)
½ cup  hot water

Recipe Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees; in a large bowl whisk dry ingredients, add sugar, beaten egg, and oil. Mix all the ingredients, add water mixing quickly until all the water is incorporated into the batter. Place in a greased loaf pan and into the oven for 40-65 minutes. The bread is done once a tooth pick is inserted in the middle and comes out clean. Serve with vanilla ice cream or a glass of chocolate milk.

Recipe Notes: The water should be very hot, it will not make the egg scramble if you stir quickly and all the ingredients have been stirred together before the water is added. I used a raw sugar for this bread; the crystals were bigger making the top of the bread very crusty if you’re going to use regular brown sugar the bread might not be as crusty but it will be yummy.
