Cinnamac Snacks

Cinnamon apple muffins.

Ingredients

2 medium apples
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup crisco
1 large egg
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Equipment

Mixer
Bowls
Measuring spoons and cups
liquid measuring cup
spoons
muffin liners
muffin pan
peeler
knives
sifter

Apples

Peel and thinly slice apples. Set aside.

Mix

Using the mixer, blend together milk, white sugar, brown sugar, crisco and egg.

Combine

In a seperate bowl, combine salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and sifted flour. Add to wet mixture, and using the mixer mix until well blended.

Stir

Stir in previously peeled and sliced apples until well combined.

Spoon Into Muffin Liners and Pan.

Spoon mixture into muffin liners. Fill each one 2/3 full. it should make 12 muffins.

Bake

Bake muffins at 350 degrees for 17-20 minutes or until slightly brown.

Serve
