Christmas Tree Table Lamp

Merry Christmas in advance.

This Christmas table lamp was made for this Christmas decoration.

If children want to make this, please do it under the supervision of parents.

Let’s make this lamp.

1> Green acrylic 2mm ( 300mm x300mm)

2> Yellow acrylic 2mm (120mm x 100 mm)

3> MDF sheet 2mm(150 mm x 90 mm)

4> glue gun

5> fevi-quick adhesive

6> 12v adapter with 1m white LED strip

7> Laser cutting machine access or send file to vendor

1. I use Autodesk Fusion360 to design a lamp.
2. Starting from a sketch on a plane.
3. I used a reference to a Christmas tree image to design a lamp.
4. I make this lamp using 2 mm thick Acrylic with different colors and use MDF for the base.
5. All parts will be assembled using a Glue gun or Feviquick.

>> Design Part.

1. I draw a zigzag pattern to make a Christmas tree shape.
2. Tree shape is getting narrow from base to top. 
3. I take 250 for tree height, use a star of 50mm on top side.
4. Consider 100 mm eight for base.
5. Make 2D design considers 2mm thickness of acrylic and MDF.
6. I make 3d designs and then arrange all the pieces according to color to make a .DXF file for laser cutting.

1. For making this Lamp we need some solid parts to assemble.
2. I use Laser Cutting Technology to make Lamp parts.
3. I use Laser cutting machine which is rated 100 W CO2.
4. I recommend you order your parts from a local vendor instead of cutting them on your own, if you are under the age of 18 years.
5. Most Laser Cutting software and vendors need a .DXF file for laser cutting.
6. I attach my laser cutting .DXF file according to the color & material we use in acrylic & MDF cutting.

1. We use a Hot glue gun or Feviquick to assemble all laser cutted parts.
2. We made Base with mdf, Tree with green acrylic and Star with yellow acrylic.
3. Before closing the top side please make sure you place the LED strip inside for lightning.

We use a 12 v white LED strip for lightning.

After assembly, connect the LED strip end with a 12 v adapter.

(Ensure that the positive wire should connect with the positive side of the LED. same for negative wire.) 

Plug Adapter in socket and place Lamp on table.

Switch it on and you will get a nice Christmas table lamp.
