Christmas Sleigh Bell- Polymer Clay (Fimo)

Very easy way to make a Christmas Sligh Bell with polymer clay!

Christmas Sleigh Bell/ Guizo de Natal- Polymer clay (Fimo)

Materials used in this project:

- Polymer clay (Fimo Soft)

- 1 small metalic bell

- 2 round cutters of the same size

- 1 styrofoam ball

- Aluminium wire

- 3D Liner

- Varnish (Optional).

Using the round cutter, make a mark on the clay.

Make 4 holes. From each hole make a small cut in direction to the center

Place the cutter over the clay and invert the position

With a styrofoam ball, gently make pressure with circular movements.

Remove the excess of clay around the cutter.

Place a small sleigh bell inside and make sure that it won't fall thru the holes.

For the top of the sleigh bell

Mark the clay with the cutter and make small holes.

Repeat the operation with the styrofoam ball, and remove the excess of clay around the cutter.

Align and join the the two pieces, with the little sleigh bell inside.

twist two rolls of white and red clay and place it around the two cutters, in the center, where the clay is exposed.

Bake it at 110°C/230°F, during 30 minutes.

After baking, remove the cutters.

Make a pendant with the wire.

Finaly decorate your sleigh bell with 3D-liner or with acrylic paint.

You can apply varnish to make it look more shiny (Optional)
