Christmas Decoder Card
This is a fun, interactive Christmas decoder card. You have to use the built in dial to find the hidden message. Lots of fun for kids 7 and older!
Things You'll Need
3 pieces of paper ( Card stock or construction paper work best )
A compass ( the kind you use to draw circles )
A cereal box ( or some thin cardboard )
Scissors
1 Brass round head fasteners
Tape
X-acto knife
Pencil

Fold 2 of the papers in half. Set the compass to 2 1/2 inches and draw a circle on the cardboard then cut it out. Then cut around the circle with groovy scissors or just cut grooves around the circle with normal scissors.
Cut a circle of paper to fit the wheel and then tape it on the wheel.
Cut 2 small rectangles with an X-acto knife, out of one of your folded papers with one on top one on bottom.
Tape the right sides of the two folded papers together.
Attach the Wheel
Put the wheel in between the two folded papers and then push the fastener through the middle make sure that the grooves on the wheel are showing on the top rectangle and the paper is showing on the bottom rectangle. Then bend the ends of the fastener. Tape the bottom of the left side of the papers.
Make a Code
Write a letter and then a = then a symbol that you can make yourself or search for a code on the internet. Then write with your code so that it can be decoded in the card.
Decorate
Next decorate your card with markers, crayons or, stickers.
