Chocolate Skull With Surprise Inside
This is a bit of a difficult dessert, but it's totally worth it. It is a chocolate skull that has a brownie and jubilee strawberries inside, it melts with a maple sauce, it is perfect for Halloween.
Supplies
For skull:
1 bar of chocolate
For brownie:
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup of cocoa powder
½ cup of flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking powder
For strawberries jubilee:
1 full spoon of butter
6 strawberries
2 teaspoons of sugar
100ml of orange juice
50ml of brandy
Sauce:
100ml of maple syrup
1 spoon of butter
1 bar of chocolate
For brownie:
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup of cocoa powder
½ cup of flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking powder
For strawberries jubilee:
1 full spoon of butter
6 strawberries
2 teaspoons of sugar
100ml of orange juice
50ml of brandy
Sauce:
100ml of maple syrup
1 spoon of butter
Chocolate Skull Mold
Melt 1 bar of chocolate at Bain-marie, in one mold vert liquid chocolate and freeze at least 30 minutes. Then demold.
Brownie
Melt 1/2 cup butter, stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla, 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into pan. Bake in preheated (350 degrees F) oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Jubilee Strawberries
In a frying pan, melt the butter and add the strawberries. Add sugar and orange juice stir. Add the Brandy and flambé the strawberries.
Maple Sauce
In a pan put the maple syrup and mix with butter until desired consistency.
Plating
Put the brownie, put the jubilee strawberries on top of the brownie, put the chocolate skull on top, if you like, put sliced strawberries around it. Pour the maple sauce on the skull so that the skull melts.
