Chocolate Pots

These are easy chocolate pots are sure to be a hit wherever you take them. The top is brownie-like and the bottom is like a molten lava cake. Every serious brownie lover and cake lover alike will ask for more! Even picky eaters will put this at the top of there dessert list!

Supplies

  • What you will need:
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 18 tbsp boiling water
  • 6 rameins
  • 2 mixing bowls
  • forks

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut butter into 6 equal tablespoons and put into the ramekins. In one of the bowls, add 1 cup self-rising flour, 3/4 cup white sugar, and 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa. Stir together then add 1/2 cup milk. Mix

Put ramekins in a microwave and melt the butter. Once melted, take out of the microwave and add the mixture on top of the butter.

In the other bowl, mix together 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, and 1 teaspoon instant coffee. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the mixture in the ramekins.

Now slowly pour 3 tablespoons of boiling water into each ramekin. Place the ramekins on a sheet pan and put into the preheated oven for 18 minutes. They will be slightly jiggly but they set up as they cool. Serve with nuts, whip cream or ice cream. I like all of them on top!!
