Chocolate Meringue

Gather Your Ingridients

Ingredients:

2 milk chocolate bars, 1 white chocolate bar, 3 eggs, 200 grams of sugar, half a lemon, Corn starch,

Equipment:

3 bowls, Tablespoon, Piping bag, Beaker, Beater, Paint brush (for cooking)

Degreasing the Bowl and Mixing Tool

Use the lemon to degrease the bowl. Squeeze the lemon juice and use a silicone brush to spread it over the bowl and mixing tool that you will be using to mix the eggs in.

Seperate the Egg White From the Egg Yolk

Use your fingers to seperate the egg yolk from the egg white. Place the egg yolk in a seperate bowl. (You won't be needing it)

Start Mixing Your Eggs

Mix the egg white until it becomes foamy white and it does not drip.

Add Sugar

Add 200 grams of sugar and start mixing it until it desolves

Add Cornstarch

After mixing in the sugar add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and mix

Put the Mixture Into a Piping Bag

Put your mixture into a piping bag, if you don't have one of these you can make it yourself by cutting the tip of a plastic bag.

Form the Meringue!!

use your piping bag to make the shape of the meringue. We also suggest too put you oven on at 100 degrees to get it warm before you put in the meringue.

Put the Meringues in the Oven

Once the oven is warm put the meringues in the oven for about 1 hour and 15min.

Break the Chocolate Into Little Pieces

While you are waiting for the meringues to bake in the oven start to prepare the chocolate. Break both of the chocolate bars into little pieces and put them in a bowl, and melt it in the microwave for 2 minutes // until it's completely melted.

Take the Meringues Out of the Oven

When the meringues are done take them out of the oven.

Cover the Meringues With the Chocolate

Use a tablespoon to cover the meringues with the melted chocolate. Make sure to cover the entire meringue.

Break and Melt the White Chocolate

Break some of the pieces of the white chocolate and melt it a little bit.

Decorate the Meringues

Wait a few minutes fro the Merigues to cool. Then, use the white chocolate to decorate your meringues however you want.
