Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe

Love chocolate chip cookies and pies? Why not combined the two and make Chocolate Chip Pie? Seriously this is perfect when you love chocolate chip cookies and pies because you get the best of both worlds! This pie taste like a chocolate chip cookie, it’s soft, chocolaty, chewy and irresistible and the pie crust gives it another layer of flavor and a different spin on this dessert. This dessert is pretty easy and basic to make. However, if you make it, you MUST top it with your favorite brand of vanilla ice cream. Supplies
Ingredients

- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup (50 g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (96 g) sugar
- ½ cup (100 g) packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup (1 1/2 sticks) (172 g) butter (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup (6 oz.)
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Vanilla Ice cream (optional)
Beat Eggs



Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 C). Add pie crust to baking dish. Add eggs to a large mixing bowl and beat on high speed until foamy.
Add Flour and Sugars




Add in flour, sugar and brown sugar and combine.
Add Butter and Vanilla




Beat in room temperature butter and vanilla. Make sure to scrape the sides to combined all ingredients.
Add Chocolate Chips



Stir in chocolate chips.
Bake




Add batter to prepared pie crust. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean.
Cool Pie


Add extra chocolate chips on top of pie and cool on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream. Enjoy!
