How to make easy chocolate chip cookies from scratch

- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar

-3/4 cup of brown sugar

-1 cup of softened butter

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1 egg

-2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour

-1 teaspoon baking soda

-1/2 teaspoon salt

-2 cups of chocolate chips

-Heat oven to 375 Ferhinhite.

-Mix sugars, butter, vanilla extract, egg,, In a large bowl.

-Stir in flour, baking soda, salt. (dough will be stiff).

-Stir in Chocolate chips.

-Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet

-Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft)
