My Grandma did not believe it could ever be done with the recipes I adapted to make this very rich chocolate cupcake. Many mishaps latter the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcake is here.

Ingredients:

Cookie Dough Mix
(Use pre made cookie dough that is refrigerated)

Cake Mix
1 Stick Margarine
4 tbsp Cocoa
¼ c Oil
1 c Cold Water

2 c Flour
2 c Sugar

½ c Regular Milk
½ tsp Vinegar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
¼ tsp salt
¾ tsp Baking Soda

Mix Margarine, Cocoa, Oil, and Water together and bring to a boil.
Mix the Flour, and Sugar.
Mix the Milk, Vinegar, Eggs, Vanilla, Salt, and Baking Soda together then add to above mixture.
Remove from heat.

Frosting
1 Stick Margarine
4 tbs. Cocoa
3 tbs. Milk

Cooking Directions:

Add cupcake liners to the cupcake cooking sheet. Apply 1 tbsp of Cookie Dough onto the bottom of each cupcake. Flatten dough to cover the full bottom. Apply 2 tbsp or more of the Cake Mix until ½ line of the cupcake liner is reached. DO NOT fill more than ¾ of the liner. Place Cupcakes in the oven at 400 degrees F and bake for 18-22 minutes. Check with toothpick in middle of cupcake to see if done.

6 minutes before cupcakes are done combine and bring to boil.
Remove from heat, beat well, and apply directly onto warm cupcakes.

Makes approximately 18-24 cupcakes (The first time I made these I filled the cupcakes to the top and made a huge mess. Yet I still made over 18 of them)
