Chocolate Chip Cookie

These are the best chocolate chip cookie ever! They are perfect for any time of year! They are nice and crispy on the outside but gooey and delicious on the inside! It's the perfect texture!

Santa's bound to love them ;)

Ingredients

1 cup of butter (2 sticks)
1 cup of white sugar
1cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
2 t vanilla
3 cups, flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 t warm water
1 t cream of tarter
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts


Creaming the Butter and Sugars

Add 1 cup of butter to the bowl of an electric stand mixer. Add 1cup of white sugar and 1 cup of brown packed sugar. With the paddle attachment, start beating on low speed and slowly increase and beat on high till the mixture starts sticking to the sides of the bowl.

Add the eggs, one at a time, incorporating well before adding the second. Add the vanilla and stir. Now add flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tarter stir. Finally add the two cups of chocolate chips and the walnuts.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a pan with a sheet of parchment paper and scoop the cookie dough onto the pan. Now place in the oven for 15 min. After baked, allow to cool for 5 min before taking off the pan and transferring to a wire wrack.

Yields 24 cookies.
