Chocolate Cake Desert Cocktail

I have too much cake vodka...
Far too much.
It takes up all of the valuable space in my liquor cabinet for more exotic or practical things, so I try to come up with as many different ways to use it as possible. This one should have been a no-brainer for me from the beginning, but better late than never!
Have yo' self some cake!
This is how you do it!
Tools & Ingredients
- Kahlua (0.5 oz)
- Creme de Cacao (2 oz)
- Cake Vodka (1oz)
- Dark chocolate bar / baker's chocolate
- Cocktail glass
- Cocktail shaker
- Fine cheese grater
- (Optional) Some kind of shiny ribbon-type-thing to tie around the stem of your cocktail glass
Mixing
Pour all of your liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake it until it's frosty! Pour the contents of your shaker into your cocktail glass.
Garnish & Serve
Break off a piece of your chocolate and scrape it across your fine cheese grater over your cocktail glass so that a thin layer of chocolate dust covers the surface of your cocktail. Some chocolate dust may fly around a bit as you are grating it, but it is very easy to clean.
If you feel like giving your drink a little more presentational pizazz, gently tie a ribbon around the stem of your cocktail glass.
Enjoy your chocolatey goodness, you kooky cocoa nut! (See what I did there?)
