This is an easy treat that is very yummy.  It uses my toffee recipe (https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Toffee/ ) and only takes about 20 minutes.

The instructable for explaining the making of toffee can be found here: https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Toffee/  using the butter and the brown sugar.

Stop at step 5, and pour the toffee onto the crackers, evenly spreading it with the wooden spoon.

Baking

Now put the toffee crackers into the oven for about 5 minutes.  Make sure they do NOT burn.  These ones in the picture did, and the result was not good.

Now spread chocolate chips over the surface of the crackers and spread the chocolate evenly with a wooden spoon. After that, when the pan is cool to the touch, put the pan in the freezer for a couple of minutes to harden the chocolate.

Cut and Bag

Cut or break the crackers and put the in bags.  You should see some lines in the chocolate to help you cut the crackers.  Then put the bags in the fridge to keep them cool.

You're done!
