You'll get the perfect chocolate cheese toast if you melt the chocolate just before preparing the sandwich. You can optionally use some chocolate spread, but the taste will not even come close to real melted dark chocolate.

Take chunks of chocolate in a bowl. Now bring some water to boil in another bowl and make the cup with chocolates float on the boiling water.

This will make the chocolate melt nice and smooth.

Spred It

Now that you have the smooth dark chocolate freshly melted, it's time to bath the bread with it.

Using a spoon or a butter knife, evenly spread the chocolate over the bread slices.

Grate It

Now after spreading the chocolate evenly on the bread, it's time to add the star player in the recipe, the Cheese.

Grate cheese all over the chocolate spread. Be generous with it as the cheese will melt once toasted. The more the cheese, the better the taste.

After grating the cheese over the bread, it's time to toast it.

Toast N Serve

Place the bread slices over one another and press it well. Now heat a toasting pan and butter it up.

Now place the bread on the pan and toast it till all the cheese melts and the surface of the bread become slightly brown and crispy.

You can also do this on a sandwich grill if you'd like.

Transfer the toast on to the serving plate and top it up with some more chocolate and grated cheese. You can also pour in some maple syrup to make it much more sweet.

Bon Appetit !!
