Take a small piece of polymer clay and condition it by massaging it in your hands.
Roll it into a ball.
Press it flat with the altoids container and use the small lid to cut it into a small disk.

Take a second piece of clay to make the bead.  Roll it into a cylinder.

Use the toothpick to put a hole in the top of the disk and through the cylinder.  This will be so that you can put it on the twine later.

Add Your Chinese Zodiac Sign

Use a small paint brush and carefully paint the grooves you made with the toothpick.  Let the paint dry for an hour and then coat the pendant and bead with Mod Podge.

When the pendant and bead are dry, string onto your twine.
