Chinese Chews

Chinese Chews is that while they are undeniably chewy, they aren’t overwhelmingly sweet. The crunchy walnuts add a nice balance to the texture, and the sugar sends a message to your mouth that they are, indeed, a dessert

Ingredients

1 c. flour

1 c. sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1 c. chopped walnut meats

1 c. chopped dates

2 eggs

1/4 c. butter (not melted)

Mix

Add the sugar and eggs into a bowl and mix well.

After its stirred add the remaining ingredients to bowl and stir in.

Then add the mix into a square pan to bake

Preheat oven to 350 and cook the cookies for 30 mins.

Makes 16 cookies
