So next, you grab your dough and shape it until it becomes rectangular. Then, you wrap it in saran wrap and put it in the freezer or fridge, for 10 minutes. After that, you grab the dough and remove the saran wrap. Next, you cut it into 12 pieces and roll it into tiny balls. Then, put 6 of 12 pieces of the dough on two baking trays.

Finally, you flatten the tiny balls lightly with the palm of your hands. Then, make a criss-cross on the top of your dough, with your fork. Next, use the eggwash by applying a little water onto the left over whisked egg, then put it on the dough. After that, put one or two sliced almonds on top of the dough, and slightly press on it. Then you bake it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. When the chinese almond cookies are done, put them on a cooling rack for a few minutes before serving them. After that, you are finally finished.
