China Great Wall LED Lamp | Laser Cut | Wood Craft

In this blog, you can try to make a China Great Wall LED Lamp. It's comprised of two parts: 3 mm plywood and led light. If you have a laser cutter, you can try make one.

MATERIALS:

1. 3mm thickness plywood (35*45cm),
2. Glue,
3. Light string or LED light

EQUIPMENT:

1. 20W NEJE Laser Cutter
2. Software: Lightburn

You will need to cut and engrave with this file. I use light-burn as my laser working software. You can see there are three color once you upload. Each color need different treatment. You can also use laser-grbl or other software you like to create laser crafts. There's hole in the fourth layer, you can adjust the hole due to your led light.

1. Black: Cut
2. Red: Engrave lines
3. Yellow: Fill

Your machine should be large enough for laser engrave and cut a 35*45cm plywood sheet. Otherwise, you may need to adjust your file. I used NEJE MAX 4(750*460mm). Once you adjust your settings, you can engrave and cut.

After the production is completed, assemble it layer by layer according to the order of the picture. Because the thickness of the wood can vary slightly, you may need glue to secure it. This lamp can be completed by inserting the led light string or small lights through the hole on the fourth layer.
