Preparing the Sauce, Cutting the Ingredients.
Sauce ingredients:
- 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of cornstarch
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
Preparation:
- Mix the sauce ingredients together until cornstarch is dissolved
- Cut the chicken into cubes
- Cut the broccoli into 1-inch florets
Note: When mixing the ingredients, it is recommended you do so in a mixing bowl, but any tall bowl will work nicely.
Making the Noodles
Boil the noodles as per the package’s instructions (approx. 3 minutes depending on ramen). Drain and then set aside in a pan.
Mind the Veggies
On medium-high heat, pour in the oil, and cook the broccoli until browned on edges(about two minutes). Then add the 2 tbsp water and stir for two more minutes
Finishing It Up
Add in chicken and garlic and cook until chicken is a nice white (cut inside to make sure there is no pink). Lower heat and add in the noodles with the sauce ingredients. (Give the sauce one more mix before adding it, in case it separated).
