- Jeera

Heat the pan/cooker and add coconut oil. Once the oil gets heated, add some jeera, curry leaves and chopped onion. After the onion wilted, add the chopped tomato, ginger-garlic paste and coriander leaves into it. Stir all added items and fry it for some time.
After that, add the washed chicken pieces and give it a mix. Put on pinch of turmeric powder, biryani powder (any readymade packs), and a cup of curd to it. And mix it al
Add the water in 1:2 ratios that means if you take 1 cup of rice, then you have to add 2 cups of water. After water boils add the biryani rice (soaked), add required amount of salt, and stir well. Close the cooker lid and leave it for two whistles. As soon as the pressure is out, open the cooker, add some ghee and serve it hot.
