Chicken Alfredo- Tiffany Johnson
I made homemade chicken Alfredo from scratch. This is one of my favorite dishes to make. It is so flavorful and a taste you will never forget! It is a quick and easy dish to make during the week. Alfredo is a good comfort dish. There is nothing better than a homemade dish.
Supplies
- 1 Tablespoon of black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Onion Powder
- 1 Tablespoon of Chicken seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon of Slap ya mama Seasoning
- 2 Cups of Chicken Broth
- 1 Cup of Parmesan cheese
- 2 Cups Heavy Whipping cream
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- Fettuccine Noodles
- 4 Tenderloins
- Olive Oil
- 6-8 tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
Prep Chiken
This step starts with rinsing your chicken. To get a good coat of seasoning on your chicken, use a paper towel to pat it dry. Then, season your chicken using garlic powder, seasoning salt, pepper, slap your mama, and chicken seasoning. Coat chicken to your liking. Then, set your chicken to the side to let the seasoning marinate.
Prep Noodles
In a large cooking pot, pour about ¾ of water to the top. Then, put your isle on high, let the water come to a boil, sprinkle in a pinch of salt and add your fettuccine noodles. Let them cook until they are soft or to your liking. Drain and set aside.
Cook Chicken
After everything has got started, heat a medium size pan coated with olive oil and a tablespoon of unsalted butter. Add your chicken. Cook chicken on both sides until it is light golden brown. Once it’s done, set aside and dice.
Making the Sauce
In the same pan you cooked the chicken, turn the heat to medium. Add 5 tablespoons of butter and a tablespoon of minced garlic, let it come to a slight sizzle. Slowly, whisk in 2 cups of heavy whipping cream, bring to a slight boil. Whisk in 2 cups of parmesan cheese, stir until it is melted then add in 2 cups of chicken broth.
Mix and Serve
Turn alfredo sauce to a low heat, add noodles. Stir. Add chicken. Stir. Cook on low for about 5-10 minutes.
