Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine

How To Make Chicken Alfredo

Supplies

Butter

Flour

Heavy Whipping Cream

Milk

Boursin Cheese (Garlic and Herbs)

Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Salt and Pepper

Fettuccine Noodles

Chicken Breast

Marinade Your Chicken

Start with your chicken breast, marinade it with salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil. Make sure you mix it around to give it a nice even coat

Pre-Heat Your Oven

Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees. You are going to be cooking your chicken in the oven and the chicken needs to be able to cook to a internal temperature of 165 degrees

Make a Roux

You're going to start your sauce by making a Roux. This will act as a thickening agent for the sauce later.

Start in a hot pan and melt down a stick of butter, and start mixing in EQUAL PARTS of flour. You want to mix it around to cook out the flour. You should be left with kind of a paste. Next you are going to add everything else to this .

Add Heavy Whipping Cream and Milk

Next, you are going to add your heavy whipping cream and milk into the mix. Make sure to whisk it around to get rid of the clumps from the Roux.

Add Cheese

Next , you want to add your cheeses. Start by adding your Boursin Cheese. Melt it down and mix it well into the sauce. Next start adding small bits of your shredded parmesan cheese. The end result should be a nice thick sauce. Add Salt and Pepper to your liking!

Boil Water and Add Pasta!

Next, you want to boil your pasta. Start with a large pot of water, bringing it to a boil. Make sure to add salt to the water. This will help get the raw pasta taste out. Cooking time should be about 12 minutes.

Strain Pasta

Next, strain your pasta! It should be cooked but not mushy!

Take Out Chicken

Once the chicken has cooked for about 25 minutes and has an internal temperature of 165 degrees, it is time to pull it out of the oven. Let it rest for about 2 minutes then you can start chopping it up
