Chicken Al'a King

This homemade family recipe is hearty, warm, and filling. This feeds up to 7 people.
Supplies

- 1 and ½ cups of Milk
- 1 and ¼ cups of Pacific Foods chicken broth
- ½ cup of Butter
- 2 cups of rotisserie (or your choice) chicken
- Carbs (i.e.: bread, puff pastry, of your choice, optional)
- ½ cup of all-purpose flour; if Gluten free, substitute all-purpose flour for potato flour.
- ½ cup of diced green bell pepper
- ½ cup of diced red bell pepper
- Seasonings of choice
Prepare Green and Red Bell Peppers

a. Dice green and red bell peppers and set aside.
Cook Chicken

a. In a slow cooker, insert chicken and chicken broth and cook for four hours until inside is tender.
b. Shred chicken with forks.
Melt Butter and Add Vegetables

a. Add a small slice of butter to saucepan and medium high heat.
b. Add diced green and red bell pepper and stir periodically.
Add Dry Ingredients

a. Stir in the choice of seasonings and flour.
b. Stirring constantly and simmering.
c. Remove from heat.
Add Wet Ingredients

a. Stir in chicken broth and milk.
b. Turn heat to boiling and stirring constantly.
Add in Chicken

a. Place cooked chicken in saucepan.
b. Shred more as needed.
Assemble and Plate

a. Serve the dish in soup bowls with a choice of carbs.
b. Top with extra seasoning if necessary.
c. Eat with a fork.
