This is a pudding made from chick pea flour. It can be served as desert or main dish depending on individual preferences.
Supplies
150g chick pea flour
2 x 95g tinned tuna in oil
Canola oil
Diced red onions, yellow paprika and red paprika
Spices (half a teaspoon or less each and according to personal preferences). I used mixed spices, curry, thyme, chicken salt, lemon pepper, table salt, red chilli.
2 x small aluminum trays with covers
Mixing
Pour 150g chick pea flour in mixing bowl.
Mix in the onions, paprika, spices, one cooking spoon of oil.
Gradually stir in warm water until the mixture is of dropping consistency.
Greasing
Grease aluminum trays with canola oil.
Put aluminum in steamer or steaming pan.
Preparing to Cook
Pour mixture into aluminum trays and seal with cover.
Bring water to boil and add to the steamer or steaming pan.
I used aluminum foil to cover my steaming pan (it's okay to just use the pan or steamer cover).
Steam on stove with medium heat for 45 minutes.
Ready to Serve
After 45 minutes, set aside and allow the pudding to set.
Serve as desert.
