Let's Start Cutting!

Get your t-shirt and lift the top layer and start cutting at an angle...keep a 3/4" width and cut going around the t-shirt..
You would be left with a long 3/4" strip of material.
Stretch it and you would get a cord.

Making the Band

Hold the cord in one hand and measure with it round your head..stretch it a bit but not too much...remember about 1/2" or 1" would go to connect the cords.
Now place it on the table and make a few loops...say 5 or 6 to form the head band...refer the pictures.
Sew the edges...on both sides
join the edges....
you are done....now to neaten it

The Knot Another Look??

Now neaten the edges with the remaining strip we cut off...forming a bow like knot.
well....here we have another look with the same band!

Variations!

You want different colors in one band?? well here it is...
the sewing of the edges is different in this...you could do the fist method or this....
i just wanted to try a different way :-D refer the pictures.
Now isn't this easy...it just takes maximum of 15 minutes...you could even add a flower...if the occasion asks for it :-)
