I really like carpentry, but I decided to try something new!

I entered this in the Beyond The Comfort Zone contest, please vote for it if you like it!

Gather Ingredients

2 Cups Flour

2 Tablespoons Sugar

1 Tablespoon Baking Powder

1 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 Egg

1/2 Cup Sour Cream

1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

3 Tablespoons Milk

Mix and Bake

Mix first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl, stir in shredded cheese.

In another bowl, mix last 4 ingredients.

Mix dry and wet ingredients together, mix until wet.

Turn onto lightly floured surface, knead 10-12 times.

Flatten to 1/3" thick.

Cut with a 1 1/2" - 2" biscuit cutter, move to a greased baking sheet. (I used parchment paper.)

Bake at 425 Degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. (I did mine for 14 minutes because I like stuff to be crusty.)

Makes about 2 dozen.
