In fusion 360 the first step to making a checkers board was to create a and 8 by 8 board of squares. I made 64 different squares and made the ones diagonal to each other the same height and the ones horizontal to each other different heights.
Making the Peices

In order to make the pieces of for the checkers board, I made a 10 mm by 10 mm cylinder and coped it into each position.

Coloring the board:
To color the board I chose to make a black and white board. I used the filling tool to change the color. I needed to do this because then it will be an actual checkers board.
Coloring the Peices

I then need to color the pieces so that you won't be confused what pieces are yours and what pieces are your opponents pieces.
