This is an easy afternoon project how to build your own wooden bicycle fender

You need:

- Aluminium bar (mine are 4mm)
- Glue
- Paint

1. step cut the wood in strips maching your tyre size, you need 4 per fender.
2. step mark on plastic or paper the size of the diameter of your fenders.
3. glue 4 strips together an bend them on the paper and fix them with clothespins and something heavy to keep them in shape.

5. build a fixture for the aluminium bar
6. now bending the aluminium bars matching your size of the fender.
7. braking the edges with some sandpaper and shape the ends of the fender
8. panting the the fender on
9. mounting them on the bike

I just painted it brown, with 3 layers of colour.

After drying i mounted it with one screw under the saddle and on both sides with some self made plastic mini pipe clips
