Here I created a larger scale Charcuterie Board. This was simply create more space for snacks for my big family.

  • 2x4 Board
  • wood sander

  • Saw
  • Dowles
  • wood glue
  • ruler

Step 1: First, cut the 2x4 in half then draw out shape of the type of board you want. Then cut the shape with your saw.

Step 2: After you had cut the board, sand down and rough the edges to make that rough, natural wood look.

Step 3: After you have made it to your liking and style, you will need to drill even holes on the inside part where you will join it. Then stick the dowles in the holes and add wood glue inside to ensure stability. Join the halves together and let dry for a day.

Step 4: After the wood glue has dried, sand it down even and to your liking. Next, you will want to get your favorite color wood stain and put it on however dark you would like. Let this dry for a day or so.

Step 5 (Last Step!): After the stain has dried and you applied the gloss of your choice, you are now ready to put your favorite cheese and cracker assortments!
