After the used oil is drained replace the drain plug. Then locate the oil filter and take the oil filter off. Try not to make a mess and spill oil everywhere but some oil spilled is expected.

When you get your new oil filter close by used a small amount of used oil and wipe in the the black oil seal on the oil filter. This will help seal the oil filter to the oil filter housing.

Look in the owners manual and find how much oil your engine holds. I determined it holds 7 quarts of oil. You get your funnel and put it in the oil fill port. This is so you don't spill oil. Add the 7 quarts if oil into the motor. Once complete check oil level on the dip stick
