Chalkboard Egg
I wanted to make a unique gift for the Easter Basket this year, so I made a Chalkboard Egg.
What You Will Need
This is a very simple project and could easily be done with kids. You will need an egg that you want to cover. For this, I went with a paper mache egg. You will then need chalkboard paint (this can be purchased at your local craft store in various colors). I went with pink paint since this was an Easter project. You will also need a brush to apply the paint.
Painting the Egg
Now, you are ready to paint the egg. With chalkboard paint, you will want to paint one coat horizontally and let it dry completely. Next, paint the second coat vertically and let it dry completly.
Now, you are ready to draw away on your egg.
