It happens, every year we get older and if just a year ago you could run up the stairs with full buckets of concrete, then tomorrow you will not be able to repeat this trick. And it's not about age, I'm not a doctor, so I'm not going to write an article, I just want to share a little trick that will come in handy sooner or later to every owner of his house.

Supplies

To start a trimmer or chainsaw, you need to pull the starter cord with a sharp movement. Everyone understands this, but what to do if arthritis does not allow you to do this. There are forces, you can hold the saw, but you can’t make a sharp jerk.

Then we take a bar 40 * 40 mm. and make a small indentation, as well as a slot, as shown in the photo. It is desirable that the timber be made of hardwood, I used beech.

Thanks to this recess, we will be able to fix the starter handle, and we will pass the cord through the slot.

Then we install two vertical bars, make a hole for the hairpin and the structure is ready. Yes, a banal solution, but the main thing is that it works.

This is how it will look in full assembly. But few words and photos, let's see how it works in practice.

We launch with the help of a foot, maybe it looks somehow "foppish", but if it is not possible to launch it with our hands, then such a device would be an excellent solution.
