I would like to briefly describe the inspiration for such a creation.  I studied abroad in Ireland and didn't want to spend much money on everyday meals.  So I ended up eating many sandwiches with instant soup.  This quickly got boring and I discovered the amazingness of adding corn flakes to this simple meal.

This sandwich is not to be confused as having a simple crunchy peanut butter sandwich.  This is a sandwich with crunch.  Now I greatly prefer to make the sandwich with corn flakes, but I just don't have them right now.  So I thought I would try this with plain Cheerieos, for something a little bit different.

Supplies
Bread of your choosing
Creamy Peanut Butter
Knife and plate
Cereal of your choosing (I STRONGLY suggest corn flakes, either a knockoff brand or the original.)

So you simply assemble the sandwich and add the cereal of your choice.  One suggestion from my experience would be to spread peanut butter on both slices of bread and then add the cereal and put the pieces together.  This keeps the cereal from trying to sneak out the sides of the sandwich.

For those of you that think this is the same as crunchy peanut butter, you are off the mark and I think you should give this a try.  This sandwich is all about the crunch and not about the flavor.  There is just something so satisfying about biting into a sandwich that for all intents and purposes should be smooth and creamy and hearing a nice loud crunch.

Note: if you are making this to eat at a later time, as in not right away, do not put the cereal on the sandwich.  It will loose it's crunch and defeat the purpose of the sandwich.  (I've tried, believe me.)  I would suggest adding the cereal in right before the time of consumption.

Also, you can probably try this with many cereals but I would suggest, the plainer the better since we are going for crunch not taste when it comes to the cereal part of the sandwich.

Simple and sweet and a nice twist on the ordinary.

Note (I have added the pictures of the Cornflake sandwich.  It is even on home(bread machine)made bread.  Cornflakes are still my preferred cereal in the sandwich.)
