Instructions Overview:

In this project, you'll create a 3D printed funny cat coat catcher that brings a playful twist to your entryway. The design features a clever mechanism where the cat's eyes open when a jacket is hung and close once it’s removed, making it both functional and fun.

Cover the areas you don’t want painted with paper tape. Use black acrylic paint to carefully paint the iris of the eyes, and apply tape again for precision on the backside of the eyes.

Assembling the Mechanism:

Insert one end of the rubber band into the hanger and attach the other end to the backside of the cat. Attach the L-shaped limiter to restrict movement.

Once the paint has dried, glue the eye components together. Insert the gear wheel into the center of the shaft and then attach both eye globes. Ensure the eyes are correctly positioned so that they look downward when the hanger is engaged.

Secure the Cover and Finalize Eye Alignment
