Cashew Watermelons

- I want to try different shapes of cashew sweets. I made these cashew watermelons which are not only adorable but also taste delicious.
- I used black sesame seeds as water melon seeds and they looked perfect.
- First we need to prepare basic cashew dough.Later we can shape them as we want.

Supplies

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARING CASHEW WATERMELONS:
- Half cup of cashews
- 1/4 cup milk
- One tablespoon Ghee
- 1/4 cup sugar powder
- 1/2 cup Milk powder
- Green food colour
- Red food colour
- Black sesame seeds

Blend Cashews and Make Powder

_ Take half cup of cashews and transfer to blender.Blend to powder.

Blend Sugar in to Powder

_ Take 1/4 cup sugar and transfer to blender.Blend to powder.

Add Ghee and Milk to a Pan

_ Take a pan and add little ghee. When ghee is lightly heated add 1/4 cup milk.

Add Cashew Powder

_ After adding milk slowly add cashew powder little by little and keep mixing.

Add Milk Powder

_ Add half cup milk powder and give a mix.

Add Powdered Sugar

Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar and give a mix.Cook until cashew paste releases oil.

Transfer Mixture to a Plate

_ Transfer the prepared mixture to a plate and cool it.

Divide the Mixture in to 3 Parts

_ After mixture gets cooled gather the mixture and make a dough. Divide dough in to 3 parts.

Add Food Colours

_ After dividing in to 3 parts.Add green food colour to one part and red food colour to 2 nd part.
_ We are not adding any food colour to 3 rd part

Mix Food Colour With Dough Parts

- After adding food colours mix the dough with the colour .

Here Are the Three Dough Parts

_ After adding food colours we get red coloured dough,green coloured dough and 3rd part is normal uncoloured dough

Divide Each Coloured Dough in to 4 Parts

_ We need to divide each coloured dough in to 4 parts as shown in my image.

Flatten One Part of Red Dough

_ We have 4 parts of Red dough.Take one part of Red dough and flatten on palm.
_ Iam adding black sesame seeds in the middle of the flattened red dough.we are adding these seeds to give a water melon look at the end.

After Filling With Seeds Wrap and Close It

_ After filling with seeds wrap and make a ball as in image.

Repeat the Same Procedure

_ Take remaining 3 parts of Red dough and fill with black sesame seeds in the middle and wrap them.

Flatten the Uncoloured Dough

_ We have 4 parts of uncoloured dough.Take one part and flatten on the palm.

Place Red Dough Inside Flattened Uncoloured Dough

_ Take one part of Red dough (with seeds inside) and place in the centre of flattened uncoloured dough.
_ wrap the uncoloured dough on red dough ball.(See my image)

Flatten Green Dough .

_ Take one part of green dough and flatten it on palm.

Place Wrapped Uncoloured Dough in Centre of Green Dough

_ Place the previously wrapped uncoloured dough (with red dough inside) in the centre of green coloured dough.
_ Again wrap the green dough over uncoloured dough.

Repeat the Same Procedure With Remaining Parts

_ Repeat the same procedure with remaining parts.At the end we get 4 green balls as shown in image.( Inside the green ball we have uncoloured dough and red dough)

Refregirate Green Balls for 4 Hours

We need to refrigerate green balls for 4 hours.After 4 hours we will slice them.

Cut the Green Ball in to Half

Take one green ball and cut in to half.we get 2 parts.

Again Cut Each Half in the Middle
